Good experience with hormone therapy

So I decided to try their BHRT for women program, heard good things. The initial chat was easy, they explained everything about the hormones and what to expect. Getting the prescriptions filled was simple. I've been feeling better, honestly. No complaints, it all went smoothly. Pretty happy with it.

Comprehensive initial consultation

I booked a functional medicine consultation last month, opting for the new patient discount. The online booking system was straightforward, and I received an immediate confirmation email with all necessary forms. The initial telehealth visit itself was thorough, lasting about an hour. Dr. Smith reviewed my comprehensive blood panels from an external lab I had done previously and asked very detailed questions about my health history and lifestyle. They recommended a gut health assessment, which I agreed to. The follow-up for scheduling that was quick. Quality of care felt high, and the doctor was very attentive, not rushed at all. My only minor suggestion would be clearer instructions on how to upload existing lab results before the first appointment, but overall, a very positive start to my wellness journey here.

Reliable for my health needs

I've been coming back to Healthier Life Medicine for about a year now, primarily for their testosterone replacement therapy. My experience this time, for a follow-up consultation and adjustment, was consistent with my previous visits. Booking was easy through their portal, and the virtual appointment started right on time. Dr. Jones has always been attentive and thorough, making sure to review my progress and lab results carefully. They are reliable and I appreciate the personalized approach to my care. It's why I keep returning instead of trying other clinics. The process has been seamless every time.

Quick vitamin injection visit

Needed a vitamin injection. Booked online, got in fast. Nurse was efficient. In and out quickly. Felt good afterwards. Easy service.

Metabolic health coaching was okay

I signed up for metabolic health coaching after my initial consult. The coach was knowledgeable and gave good advice on diet and exercise. The virtual sessions were convenient. However, I found the communication between my coach and the main clinic staff could be a bit disjointed; sometimes I felt like I was repeating information. The program helped me understand my body better, but the coordination could be tighter. Value for money felt reasonable, not overly expensive but not a steal either.

IV nutrient therapy was great!

Just had an IV nutrient therapy session and it was fantastic! The clinic was so clean and the staff were incredibly friendly. The nurse was super gentle with the IV, barely felt a thing. I felt energized and refreshed almost immediately afterward. Seriously, such a positive experience. Will definitely be going back for more!

Hey, wondering if anyone knows if they do virtual appointments? I live pretty far from their office.

C Cleo 1 month ago
Yeah, they totally do! I did my initial consultation over video call. Super convenient.

Anyone tried their medical weight loss program? Curious how it compares to like, Noom or something.

A Anna Okafor 1 month ago
It's way more personalized than Noom. They dig into your hormones and gut stuff, not just calorie counting.

Totally different. They'll probably do blood tests and tailor it to your body, not just a generic plan. It's more about getting your body working right.

Is Healthier Life Medicine a legit place? Heard some mixed things about functional medicine.

M Mike Kim 1 month ago
Yeah, they're legit. All their doctors are actual MDs, just with a functional medicine approach.

Been going there for a while, definitely legit. They really focus on getting to the root cause of issues, not just treating symptoms. Big difference from my old doctor.

Thinking of signing up for the initial consultation. Any discounts floating around for new patients?

F Faith Patel 1 month ago
They usually have a new patient discount for the first consult. I'd ask them directly when you call to book.

I got fifty bucks off my first visit as a new patient. Pretty sure it's a standard thing they do.

Do they take insurance at all? Or is it all out of pocket?

P Phil 1 month ago
Nope, sadly they don't take insurance directly. You pay upfront.

R Renee B. 1 month ago
It's fee-for-service, so you pay them directly. You MIGHT be able to get some reimbursement from your insurance, but it's on you to file it. Mine covered some lab work but not the visits.
